Light switch plates (wall plates) are plastic and not very attractive. This switch plate is made from Padauk (Africa) and is in the shape we call STAR-BURST. It is designed to fit over an existing light switch and adds the character needed. It is 1/4" thick and slightly bigger than your old plate. Simply use the screws you already have!
